VOTE FOR ME TO WIN $125,000!!

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for all your support over the last couple of months. I think I can totally take the prize, but it is really ultimately up to you! YOU HAVE TO VOTE!!!

Thursday, July 16th
Bravo Channel
10pm eastern

I know you have been voting all along, but this is the big one, the one that counts and determines who wins the $125,000!!! On Thursday, you will see the final four collections from James Paul, Reco, Daniella, and me, there will be some surprises, and then you will be prompted to vote, American Idol style, for your favorite designer.

I will not be in NY on Thursday so it is up to all of you to gather around the warm glow of someone’s TV and pay close attention to how to vote. You will be able to text and call in your votes (the numbers will be provided the night it airs), and you can also go online that night, and cast your vote if you can’t watch the show in real time. The voting time will be very small so I suggest that you go ahead and vote on Thursday night! If everyone can mobilize, call and send out mass texts to let everyone else in your life know how to vote that would be great! I know we can do this!

If you would like to see a preview of the collection you will be seeing on Thursday night, go here:

and don’t forget to keep checking the Bravo website, www.bravotv.com, for any updates!

I will be sequestered during all of this so I’m counting on you to help me out! Love, Anna

Flowers, flowers and more flowers

Sorry I haven’t been updating, as you can probably guess, I am busy winning! I am so excited about the stuff I did towards the end of the show, that I had to go design a quick collection for the final fashion show! If you would like a sneak peak of the collection, go here.

A reminder of what the perfect party dress looks like:

and the first evening gown I ever made and would be thrilled if it showed up on the worst dressed list:

and I want to remind everyone to WATCH and VOTE on Thursday July 16th. YOU decide who wins the show and I hope you want me to win the money! I promise I will make it happen if you do.

If you don’t know your history, you are DOOMED.

So I hope everyone got a chance to see last week’s episode … I can tell you now that I was away filming my final fashion show for the collection I ended up designing. The final 6 contestants all presented a collection, but only four are in the running in the end and will be aired on TV. So this means I can’t tell you if I am in the running or not, you will just have to judge for yourself.

So Episode 8! I know we all love Reco and everything, so you must be asking yourself, “why is Anna trying to screw him over?” We were under the impression that Anna was so nice?? Well, I’m not. This is a competition people. And frankly, if you are going to tell me that you don’t know anything about Halston, one of the most prolific designers of the 20th century, I am going to give it to you, especially if what you pride yourself on designing is “glamorous” evening wear. Glamour is a very tricky and sometimes difficult thing to pull off, and it doesn’t always include corsets and bedazzles. I guarantee that Reco would have done that same corset deal if I had given him Christian Dior, and 90% of the audience would have still hated it. The bottom line is, that if you want to consider yourself a legend, which he does, apparently, you should probably know what came before you, and be able to appreciate it, especially something as universal as what Halston did. Most legends do.

Anywho, I love Reco, and I don’t like fighting with him, but a little humility goes a long way and for some people that is a hard lesson to learn. I am a teacher after all. As far as my friends go, you really do have to give love to get love, and all the designers we had to choose from were wonderful so of course they were pleased. Ah, editing.

and don’t forget, YOU decide the winner in the end!

We won we won!

Finally! We all know I love Haven, and she was great to work with. Our outfit was adorable and we love Isaac! So we won, that’s it. I don’t have a lot else to say about it and I am hoping that the “drama” that goes on doesn’t outweigh the actual design competition. Stick it out with me!

If you want to read what the designers have to say about the episode and leave comments for us go here.

If you agree with the judges that Haven and I should have won this week go and vote here.

If you want to see clips of upcoming shows and deleted scenes go here.

If you want to buy any of the pieces from the look that we created go here.

Let the eye-rolling begin!

Dynasty lives!

I hope everyone is watching the show because it is getting good. I know everyone is is disappointed that I was in the middle AGAIN, so I will make a vow to you that i will never do that to you again, I promise. I will make sure to get as much TV time as possible from here on out.

I’m happy for Haven that she was in the top! You guys have to get into Haven if you haven’t already. Dynasty lives! (We all know how I feel about Merlin winning - and don’t get me started on that outfit… )

How about that Reco! I feel like he and Daniella are brothers from different mothers, maybe. The both have this hyper-confidence thing going on which is adorable, really. I also sort of feel like the show should be called “Reco and Daniella: A Love Story,” but hey, I’m not a producer so what do I know. Watching the bonus clips from this episode, I think I did a really good job staying out of their arguments and even trying to sleep through them, which you can watch here.
